Es un proceso an\u00e1logo a FDM, donde se crean estructuras a partir de deposici\u00f3n por capas pero sin fusi\u00f3n del material.<\/p>\n<p>Las tecnolog\u00edas tradicionales obligan a fabricar por separado las estructuras que albergan las c\u00e9lulas cultivadas en laboratorio. Son dif\u00edciles de manipular, es por ello que se integran con <strong>biotintas<\/strong> antes de la deposici\u00f3n. Las biotintas son sustancias biocompatibles como col\u00e1geno, plasma o alginato que sirven de matriz o ecosistema para las <strong>c\u00e9lulas vivas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En este momento, uno de los obst\u00e1culos en la reproducci\u00f3n de los tejidos humanos radica en la <strong>vascularizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, esto es, el sistema de riego interno que permite alimentarse a todas las c\u00e9lulas, y que es a su vez otro tipo de tejido. Se trata de la reproducci\u00f3n de la parte del cuerpo de inter\u00e9s destinada a dar soporte a los m\u00e9dicos en la planificaci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica, simulaciones, estudio anat\u00f3mico, informaci\u00f3n al paciente\u2026<br \/> Son maquetas que no tienen requerimientos funcionales, por lo que pueden fabricarse en cualquier material y tecnolog\u00eda que est\u00e9 a disposici\u00f3n. Son m\u00e1s comunes las piezas de termopl\u00e1sticos como <strong>PLA<\/strong> en <strong>FDM<\/strong> y <strong>resina fotopolim\u00e9rica<\/strong> en <strong>SLA<\/strong>, y tambi\u00e9n sus respectivas opciones en <strong>flexible<\/strong>. Se debe principalmente a que son las alternativas m\u00e1s asequibles econ\u00f3micamente.<br \/> Se incluir\u00eda tambi\u00e9n en este nivel los productos tipo plantillas ortop\u00e9dicas. Tienen requerimientos geom\u00e9tricos (funci\u00f3n de la morfolog\u00eda del pie y la distribuci\u00f3n de presiones) y f\u00edsicos del material (densidad, dureza o resiliencia). Hablamos de herramientas auxiliares que <strong>optimizan<\/strong> las intervenciones.<br \/>\n<\/br>Por un lado est\u00e1n las gu\u00edas, principalmente de corte para estructuras \u00f3seas (<strong>osteotom\u00eda<\/strong>). Tambi\u00e9n se utilizan para accesorios que mejoran la <strong>ergonom\u00eda<\/strong> en quir\u00f3fano, como adaptaciones de herramientas para operaciones concretas.<br \/>\n<\/br>En este caso aumenta en nivel de exigencia en cuanto a materiales, que han de ser <strong>biocompatibles<\/strong>, y tambi\u00e9n los <strong>procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n<\/strong> se deben controlar. Ejemplos de ello pueden ser una pr\u00f3tesis craneal con la funci\u00f3n de proteger el cerebro, y una pr\u00f3tesis en la cabeza del f\u00e9mur con movimiento relativo respecto a la cadera y que compensa cargas, respectivamente.<br \/>\n<\/br>Desde el punto de vista de tecnolog\u00edas, se utiliza el sinterizado de metal o pl\u00e1sticos (<strong>DSLM<\/strong>\/<strong>SLS<\/strong>) y la fusi\u00f3n por haz de electrones (<strong>EBM<\/strong>).<br \/>\n<\/br>Por otro lado, la disciplina <strong>dental<\/strong> en particular se est\u00e1 beneficiando de las ventajas de <strong>la fabricaci\u00f3n aditiva<\/strong> por requerimientos como resoluci\u00f3n, dimensiones reducidas o versatilidad que se encuentran en las tecnolog\u00edas <strong>SLA<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<\/br>Todas ellas comparten los riesgos de infecci\u00f3n o rechazo, por ello el campo de <strong>desarrollo de materiales<\/strong> e incluso la <strong>bioimpresi\u00f3n<\/strong> son clave.
