EXPERT EDUCATIONAL TEAM
The Expert Course in Metal 3D Printing covers an exhaustive view of all the technologies of metallic additive manufacturing, by the hand of experts of each of them, and the necessary processes to achieve a final product of the highest quality.
Other key aspects in additive manufacturing of metallic material such as defectology, quality or certification are also treated with the utmost rigor during the course. It also includes an analysis of the processes necessary to obtain the metallic powder raw material necessary for manufacturing, thus completing the cycle from its initial stage to obtaining the final product.
Additionally, a practical case study is carried out that covers the design, processing for manufacturing (obtaining support structures) and in a totally new and unprecedented way, a simulation of the manufacturing process will be carried out, a key aspect to have sufficient guarantees of success when it comes to printing in 3D in metal. With this simulation, professionals can know in advance key aspects of the manufacturing process such as distortion, residual stress and the affectation of the piece due to the addition of supports, enabling them to make previous changes in design in what is known as “Design Against Distortion”.
Each student will fabricate their own metal partl in SLM technology.
The course may be completed with other 3D printing speciality courses in: PRODUCT DESIGN FOR 3D PRINTING, STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS FOR 3D PRINTING and BIOMEDICAL 3D PRINTING.
