STUDY OF SPACE IN THE MASTER IN AEROESPACE STRUCTURAL ANALYISIS, MECEA
We’re going to Mars!
The course on application of calculation to spatial structures begins in the Master MECEA.
After an atmospheric analysis of the aeronautical structures, the students and professors change of medium and they are placed in the application to practical cases of spatial structures, within the Master in Calculation of Aerospace Structures, MECEA.
To do this, the analysis is divided into its mechanical, thermal and thermo-elastic parts. In class they will begin with a mechanical review of modal calculation, random, high g’s, joints, etc., through structural FEM systems, and later, they will study thermal flows, coatings, multilayer insulation (MLI’s), etc., with FEM -CFD.
With this analysis the spectrum of spatial structure system multifunctional loads is covered.
In this case, another team of great professionals from the sector will be counted on, formed by Eduardo Lapeña, senior mechanical and thermal engineer, Miguel Ángel Alem, engineer of space structures and Marco D’Alessio, application engineer of Altair.
