El pasado 16 de octubre comenzó la primera edición del Máster en Cálculo de Estructuras Aeroespaciales MECEA, apostando por el exitoso método formativo de EDDM Training.

El programa MECEA nace de una necesidad de formar a los alumnos e ingenieros en el sector del cálculo aeronáutico y espacial, allanándoles el camino hacia su incorporación en un sector de difícil acceso si no se cuenta con una experiencia previa.
Adaptando el logrado método formativo implantado desde 2013 en el Máster en Diseño Mecánico Aeronáutico, MEDMA, basado en el estudio de casos prácticos reales del sector que ocurren en el día a día de un ingeniero de cálculo, el alumno se sumerge en una recreación fiel del entorno de trabajo que se encuentra en las empresas.

En el máster, nuestros alumnos aprenderán a realizar cálculos de piezas aeronáuticas de toda tipología, análisis estructurales tanto en piezas metálicas como compuestos, análisis de fatiga y tolerancia al daño, determinar cuándo una pieza está preparada para el vuelo mediante ensayos, certificación y calificación entre otros.
El programa contará con un apartado sobre la impresión 3D profesional y la fabricación aditiva, donde los alumnos tendrán la oportunidad de manipular las máquinas y crear modelos reales in situ. Como complemento a sus estudios en elementos finitos FEM, los alumnos asistirán a charlas con profesionales destacados del sector y visitarán las instalaciones de las principales empresas aeronáuticas.
