El pasado 9 de junio los alumnos del MEDMA visitaron ACITURRI, como complemento a su formación en materiales compuestos.

La formación específica en materiales compuestos es clave en la actualidad para los diseñadores de estructuras aeronáuticas; por ello desde la Escuela de Diseño Mecánico se ha elaborado un temario teórico-práctico muy ambicioso y adaptado a las necesidades reales de la empresa. Estos módulos han sido impartidos por Miguel Ballesteros y Daniel Gómez, quienes como expertos en dicha materia, han transmitido los conocimientos necesarios para dotar a los alumnos de autonomía en su trabajo, no solo usando herramientas CAD, sino asimilando conceptos de diseño.

En la visita los alumnos pudieron ver el proceso de fabricación de materiales compuestos recepción y mantenimiento del material, salas de corte, utillajes, proceso de apilado, curado en autoclave, ensayos no destructivos, etc. Desde EDDM se apuesta por acercar la postura del diseñador mecánico al producto final fabricado y su proceso productivo. Solo ese entendimiento del proceso de fabricación conduce a una concurrencia entre diseño y fabricación que da como resultado un producto óptimo.
